Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Remote Sensing

Date added: 19 September 2017

The Department of Geophysics at Colorado School of Mines has an opening for a remote-sensing specialist at the tenure-track, Assistant Professor level. We invite candidates with expertise in any of the optical and microwave remote sensing areas.

Project Manager Earth Observation / Copernicus Services

Date added: 31 July 2017

We are looking for a self-driven, results-oriented and highly motivated senior professional with relevant working experience for our multidisciplinary team to support the management and further development of Earth Observation / Copernicus project activities.

Systems Engineer

Date added: 31 July 2017

As an UrtheCast Systems Engineer, you will support the UrtheCast OptiSAR space systems development effort, with lead responsibility on the real-time onboard planning subsystem. The onboard planning subsystem will generate an optimal schedule in real-time to task the satellite to acquire imagery, taking into account complex system and resource constraints. The system engineer will lead this subsystem from specification through algorithm development, design and implementation to operational capability in flight. The Systems Engineer is a key member of the engineering team and will support broader OptiSAR mission system engineering as needed.

Master student internship in Flood mapping algorithm using optical and SAR data

Date added: 31 July 2017

The remote sensing scientists and hydraulic engineers at LIST have recently developed an automatic flood mapping algorithm based on SAR images. In the framework of the proposed internship we aim to continue developing the algorithm with the objective to increase its performances, especially in urban areas. To this aim, it is planned to include optical imagery in the processing chain in order to increase the classification accuracy.

Student Internship in Big Data technologies for Remote Sensing Data exploitation
